From management reporting to digital twin R&D — supporting a technology company at multiple stages of strategic development.
The challenge
A technology company working in the public sector (name confidential) faced three linked challenges: building structured financial and management reporting from raw accounting data; assessing opportunities to expand into municipal digital infrastructure, especially urban traffic management; and exploring a semantic digital twin concept to simulate traffic‑policy changes before implementation.
What we did
- We redesigned financial analysis and management reporting with the finance team, creating a framework that gives the board clear, usable performance insights.
- We assessed the strategic fit of entering urban traffic management by analysing regulation, existing solutions, international practice and alignment with the client’s capabilities.
- We developed the conceptual framework for a semantic digital twin of traffic systems, mapped relevant research and structured the innovation concept for further R&D and potential funding.
Outcome
